New Orleans Saints offensive guard Erik McCoy (calf) is expected to miss the next four games with a calf strain. McCoy suffered the injury in the first quarter of Sunday's win over the Packers- and was only on the field for five snaps. The 24-year-old has been a dependable starter on the Saints' offensive line in the last two seasons, as he earned solid overall grades for his work at the center spot. New Orleans worked out former Chiefs center Austin Reiter, who has also graded out very well by Pro Football Focus. The Saints could elect to sign Reiter and start him at center or go with Cesar Ruiz, who played the position in college, as their snapper moving forward. McCoy's absence is a definite blow to a strong offensive line, though it shouldn't change the fantasy outlooks of New Orleans' skill position players much.--Tim CapursoRead More News
