4 years agoStarting 38th proved to be nothing more than a minor inconvenience for Joe Gibbs Racing's Erik Jones, who navigated through traffic to reach sixth place by the midway point of the Pocono 350. Jones wasn't done there, though, as he picked up three more positions on his way to a third-place finish. After a 38th-place finish on Saturday, the top-five performance was exactly what the No. 20 team needed to get back into the playoff picture. Jones now sits 16th in the point standings and will look to build on his strong afternoon when the Cup Series returns to Indianapolis Motor Speedway.--Ryan Devine
