Eno Benjamin 2020 Outlook: An Underrated Running Back Handcuff
Arizona Cardinals running back Eno Benjamin was drafted in the seventh round in this year's draft. Benjamin was very productive at Arizona State, where he rushed for back to back 1,000-yard seasons while also posting double-digit touchdowns. The most encouraging stat from his collegiate career is his receiving production. He caught 77 passes for 610 yards and four touchdowns during the final two seasons of his career. Benjamin will be enlisted as the third option in Arizona's stable of running backs. If anything were to happen to Kenyan Drake, then we could potentially see a significant increase in his workload. Arizona ranked fourth in the league last year in plays ran per second while in a neutral game script. The offense's nature presents added opportunities for any running back playing in the system due to the large volume of plays being run by the offense. His 263 ADP suggests that he's a cheap running back handcuff with a lot of upside. Benjamin's ability to catch the ball out of the backfield will elevate his fantasy floor when he's on the field. It will also allow him to see more work on passing downs. If Drake were to ever go down with an injury, Benjamin could become a trendy waiver-wire addition.
