Emmanuel Sanders Could Have A Big Role
3 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, not Gabriel Davis, could step into John Brown's role in the offense when all four of the starting wideouts are healthy. The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia isn't confident that Buffalo wants to put too much on Davis' plate, which makes Sanders intriguing. Davis was on the field 35 percent less than Brown in 2020. Don't overpay for Davis in fantasy if he's not guaranteed to see a bigger role with Sanders in town. Sanders is the most underrated piece to be added to this offense after they pursued him heavily in free agency. Quarterback Josh Allen looked for Sanders often during spring workouts in an effort to establish a nice rapport. Sanders specializes in separation on intermediate routes, much like his new teammate Stefon Diggs. The veteran Sanders fits in nicely with this offense and has the potential to be the No. 2 wideout behind Diggs, which would make him a huge fantasy football bargain as a late-round flier.
