Emmanuel Moseley Expected To Compete With Jerry Jacobs
1 year agoDetroit Lions cornerback Emmanuel Moseley (knee) sat out organized team activities and mandatory minicamp while rehabbing the torn ACL he suffered last fall, but when he's healthy, he's expected to compete with Jerry Jacobs for a starting job. The Lions signed Moseley to a one-year, $6 million deal in March. The 27-year-old was a former undrafted free agent, but he managed to start 33 games in five seasons for the San Francisco 49ers and became an every-down outside cornerback the last two seasons. Moseley played in just five games last year due to his knee injury, collecting 22 tackles (18 solo), one interception returned for a touchdown and five passes defensed.
