Eloy Jimenez Expected To Return Friday
Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) is expected to come off the injured list and be in the starting lineup on Friday against the Baltimore Orioles and right-hander Tyler Wells. Jimenez has looked good in recent days. The 26-year-old's injury was never considered very serious, but he's likely to return in the designated hitter role to ease him back in. Jimenez was hitting only .211 (4-for-19) with two doubles and three RBI in his first five games before getting injured, but he needs to be rostered in all fantasy formats because of his high-end upside with the lumber. Third baseman Yoan Moncada (back) could take Jimenez's place on the injured list in a corresponding move before Friday's contest against Baltimore.
