1 year agoThe Chicago White Sox reinstated outfielder Eloy Jimenez from the paternity list on Monday and optioned right-hander Declan Cronin to Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move. Jimenez is right back in the starting lineup against Seattle Mariners right-hander Luis Castillo, serving as the designated hitter and batting cleanup for the Pale Hose. The 26-year-old missed last Wednesday's game with a groin injury and then missed all of the weekend series for the birth of his child. He's apparently over his groin ailment and is ready to go. Jimenez is returning to a .277/.320/.452 slash line with 14 homers, 50 RBI and 36 runs scored in 321 at-bats in 2023.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
