Calgary Flames center Elias Lindholm is open to staying with the team as he gets ready to start the final season of his current contract. "I am willing to stay," Lindholm told hockeysverige.se, according to a translation. "My agent and Calgary will take care of most of it. There is a lot we have to agree on, but I have said that I can imagine staying." Lindholm likely wants a significant raise from his current average salary of $4.85 million. He was the team's second-best scorer in 2022-23 with 64 points (22 goals, 42 assists) in 80 games and is only a year removed from a 40-goal campaign. The 28-year-old Swede has played the last five seasons in Calgary, posting 139 goals and 325 points across 369 regular-season outings.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
