Edwin Jackson Designated For Assignment by Blue Jays
Edwin Jackson has been designated for assignment prior to Tuesday's game against the Red Sox. Jackson posted three scoreless innings in Monday's 10-8 loss, allowing three hits, a walk and striking out two batters. Overall the experienced 35-year-old recorded just one win, five losses and an ugly 11.12 ERA over 28 1/3 innings as a member of the Blue Jays rotation and bullpen. A corresponding move has not been announced yet, while Jackson should be avoided in every type of fantasy format regardless of his next destination.
