Eduardo Rodriguez Serviceable Against Rays
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez finished 5 1/3 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits, while striking out six, and walking just one in a 6-4 win over the Rays Friday night. Now back-to-back solid outings for Rodriguez, he's struck out 14 and walked just one over his past two starts. However, Rodriguez has given up a home run in all five starts this season, a slight spike to his 1.1 HR/9 last season. The 26-year-old is doing his best to reverse his slow start to the season. In his next time out against the Tigers, he'll need to keep racking up the strikeouts, but keep the ball in the yard to give the Sox a chance to win.
