Earl Thomas Possibly Open To Staying In Seattle
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas played in Seattle's Week 1 game against Denver after ending his lengthy holdout days earlier, and he made his presence felt by snagging an interception in the game. After the game, Thomas unsurprisingly told reporters that he had come back because he and his agent realized the money that would be lost if he missed games. What caught everyone somewhat off guard though was when Thomas also said that he'd be open to re-signing in Seattle after his contract ends if the team still wanted him. Thomas is in the final year of his four-year contract, and he may become a trade candidate later in the season depending on the team's and other players' performance.
