The Philadelphia Eagles signed free-agent offensive lineman Matt Hennessy (knee) to an undisclosed one-year deal on Tuesday, according to a league source. The 26-year-old started 22 games for the Atlanta Falcons since entering the league as a third-round pick in 2020 out of Temple. He will help add depth to Philadelphia's offensive line on the interior. The 6-foot-3, 307-pounder was slated to start for the Falcons at left guard last year before suffering a knee injury in training camp in late July that caused him to miss all of 2023. Of his 22 starts in the NFL, 17 of them came in center for Atlanta in 2021. Knee injuries have been an issue for Hennessy the last two seasons, so the Eagles will be hoping that he can finally get past those concerns in 2024.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
