The Philadelphia Eagles gave All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson a one-year, $33.445 million contract extension on Friday that includes $30 million guaranteed, according to a source. Johnson is now under contract through the 2026 season. He hasn't given up a sack in the last two years, despite playing last postseason with a torn adductor muscle in his groin. The 32-year-old veteran will return to the Eagles for an 11th season in 2023 after having surgery on his groin in February after the Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He could be ready by the time the team begins their offseason workouts, but if not, he should be fully recovered by training camp in the summer. Having Johnson on the right side of the offensive line is a tremendous asset for the Eagles explosive offense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
