The Philadelphia Eagles selected Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord with the 181st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. McCord transferred from Ohio State to Syracuse ahead of the 2024 season, and during his final collegiate campaign, he led all FBS schools in completions, pass attempts, and passing yards. He totaled 34 passing touchdowns but also threw 12 interceptions. McCord's arm strength and upside are evident, but things can go awry when he gets forced outside of the pocket. He'll presumably have a chance to compete with Tanner McKee and Dorian Thompson-Robinson for the Eagles' backup quarterback job behind Jalen Hurts.--Andersen Pickard
