Washington Capitals center Dylan Strome pushed the team past the Islanders on Wednesday with a power-play goal in overtime in a 3-2 win. Alex Ovechkin and John Carlson collected the assists, with the former tying Evgeni Malkin for the second-most overtime points in NHL history (39). With Ovechkin struggling to hit the mark this season, Strome has taken over as Washington's leading goal-scorer, lightning the lamp 13 times. Three of the goals have come during his current five-game point streak. The 26-year-old also tops the overall scoring list in D.C. with 19 points in 29 games. Strome can match his best-ever scoring streak on Thursday versus Columbus.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
