Dwight Howard Traded To Brooklyn
Dwight Howard has been traded to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for center Timofey Mozgov. In addition to acquiring Mozgov, Charlotte will also receive two second-round draft picks and cash. Howard saw a significant increase in production in his lone year as a Hornet, averaging 16.6 points, 12.5 boards and nearly two blocks per outing. In addition to getting Mozgov’s contract off the books, Howard can provide much needed relief for a Brooklyn team that struggled defending the interior last season. However, if center Jarrett Allen remains with the team this upcoming season, Howard will likely see a reduction in minutes.
