Dwayne Haskins Jr. Stripped Of Captainship

Washington Football Team quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr. took part in the team's practice on Wednesday after publicly apologizing for violating the league's COVID-19 protocols. He attended a private party without a mask and was fined $40,000, the largest known fine for a COVID-19 protocol violation. Haskins was also stripped of his captainship, which he earned during a vote in training camp. "I will learn from this mistake and do everything I can to help this team," Haskins said via ESPN's Kimberley A. Martin. "I'll do everything in my power to make the most of my second chance." The second-year QB could get a second straight start against the Panthers if Alex Smith (calf) cannot go. The 23-year-old threw for 295 yards, one touchdown and two picks in Week 15 against Seattle. He'll be nothing more than a low-end QB2 for fantasy purposes if he gets another start.
