Dustin Hopkins, Cameron Dicker To Compete In Training Camp
2 years agoThe plan for now is for Los Angeles Chargers kickers Dustin Hopkins and Cameron Dicker to battle for the starting job this summer in training camp. Hopkins missed most of last year with a hamstring injury after signing an extension last offseason. Dicker missed just one kick in 10 games in his rookie season while filling in for Hopkins. "If you want to win a championship, you got to have a championship kicker," general manager Tom Telesco said. "We have two really good kickers. I've been here where the situation was not as stable. So having two guys that we really, really like is a good problem to have, and we'll kind of see how it plays out from there." Whoever wins the job in LA will most likely be attractive in fantasy.
