Drew Lock To Start Against Eagles?
12 months agoSigns continue to point to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock being the team's starter under center on Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles despite the fact that Geno Smith (groin) is officially active for this game. There apparently won't be official word on the starter before the kickoff, so fantasy managers that have Smith in their starting lineup would be wise to throw Lock in there now. Lock has been taking the first-team repetitions at QB during pre-game warmups. If Smith doesn't start, which is the way things appear to be headed, he'll be available in a pinch in case Lock gets injured on Monday night. If Lock gets the start, it will be his second straight after Smith was inactive for the Week 14 loss to the division-rival San Francisco 49ers.
