Drew Lock May Draw Start Monday Night
12 months agoThere is a real possibility that quarterback Drew Lock will draw a second consecutive start for the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night. Geno Smith (groin) is still feeling the effects of the groin injury that kept him out of Week 14 and will be a game time decision. Lock turned in a serviceable fantasy line of 269 yards with two touchdowns but also threw two interceptions in the 28-16 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Lock getting the start on Monday would downgrade the potential upside of receivers DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. There is still room for optimism as the Philadelphia Eagles defense allows the second-most passing touchdowns per game and has given up 299.3 passing yards per game in their last three contests. Against the Eagles' generous defense, Lock could put up mid-range QB2 numbers in Week 15.
