Drew Lock Efficient Against Rams
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock went 5-for-7 for 67 yards and a touchdown in a 17-12 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in the team's preseason finale on Saturday night. Lock was efficient in his limited action on Saturday and had five more yards than starter Teddy Bridgewater on four fewer attempts, but he did lose a fumble. His lone touchdown came on a seven-yard pass to tight end Austin Fort. The 24-year-old has plenty of arm strength, but his struggles to take the next step the last two years led to Bridgewater winning the starting job in training camp this summer. As the backup entering Week 1 of the regular season, Lock has no business being rostered in redraft leagues, but he could enter the QB2 picture at some point if Bridgewater struggles.
