New Jersey Devils defenseman Dougie Hamilton has been diagnosed with a broken jaw and he'll be out of the lineup indefinitely. The 28-year-old took a puck to his face early in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win against Washington and is set to undergo surgery on Wednesday. Hamilton's absence leaves a huge gap on the Devils blue line, as he averages nearly 21 and a half minutes per game and is among the team's leading scorers with 20 points in 30 games. Damon Severson logged nearly 30 minutes against Washington and will have to get used to a heavier workload. P.K. Subban also had a busy outing against the Capitals and will likely move up in the lineup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
