Dontayvion Wicks Clears Concussion Protocol
1 year agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that rookie wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks (concussion) has cleared the league's concussion protocol. Wicks suffered a concussion in the Week 11 win over the Los Angeles Chargers and was forced to sit out on a short week for the Thanksgiving matchup in Week 12 against the Detroit Lions this past Thursday. The 22-year-old isn't a lock to play in Week 13 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but he should have a good shot at suiting up if he can return to practice this week and avoid any setbacks. He had three catches for a season-high 91 yards in Week 11, but he'll likely remain a hard-to-trust WR4/5 in deeper fantasy leagues as long as Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs and fellow rookie Jayden Reed all remain healthy down the stretch.
