D'Onta Foreman Practices In Full Again
1 year agoChicago Bears running back D'Onta Foreman (ankle) was a full participant in practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Foreman tweaked his ankle in Week 11 and didn't play in Week 12 as a result. The team's Week 13 bye looks like it did Foreman some good and he's trending in the right direction to head into Sunday's Week 14 contest against the Detroit Lions without an injury designation. The 27-year-old had a good run as the Bears' starting back with Khalil Herbert on Injured Reserve from Weeks 6-11, picking up 365 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 87 carries. Rookie Roschon Johnson took over as the primary ball-carrier back in Week 12, though, and this backfield could be headed towards a frustrating three-headed committee now that Foreman is on the cusp of his return.
