Donovan Peoples-Jones Injured In Practice
3 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) came up gimpy in practice on Wednesday and was listed as a limited participant on the final report. He was running a route when he started limping. We probably won't know until Thursday whether this is an injury serious enough to keep Peoples-Jones from suiting up in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions. The 22-year-old dealt with a groin issue last month but has missed just one game on the season. Fantasy managers were hoping that DPJ would be more involved with Odell Beckham Jr. out of the picture. He had two catches for 86 yards and a touchdown in Week 9, but he was able to catch just one of five targets for 16 yards on a season-high 85% of the snaps last Sunday. Peoples-Jones will be the team's No. 2 wideout the rest of the way, but the lack of volume in this pass-first offense with a beat up QB is an issue. He'll be a boom/bust WR4/flex if he's able to play on Sunday.
