Donald Parham Jr. Doesn't Practice Wednesday
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Donald Parham Jr. (concussion) did not take part in practice on Wednesday. Parham suffered a scary head injury early in last Thursday's overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and had to stay overnight in a hospital, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Chargers play it safe with the 24-year-old and hold him out in Week 16 against the very beatable Houston Texans. If Parham cannot clear the league's concussion protocol this week, it will mean more work for veteran tight end Jared Cook. The 34-year-old saw the second-most targets (seven) of the year last week, but he hauled in only three passes for 32 yards. Even if Parham doesn't play, Cook is a touchdown-dependent TE2 for fantasy purposes.
