5 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has officially agreed to a four-year deal worth $30.2 million. The deal comes with a fifth-year option, but that is the case for all first-round draft picks. Tagovailoa will receive a $19.6 million signing bonus, and it's fully guaranteed. The Alabama quarterback was headed towards being the No. 1 overall pick, but having season-ending hip surgery crushed those dreams. The Dolphins took Tagovailoa with the No. 5 overall selection during the 2020 NFL Draft. There are obvious injury concerns, but Tagovailoa could be their franchise quarterback, assuming he's able to stay healthy.
