Dolphins Not Auditioning Tua Tagovailoa
4 years agoMiami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said the team isn't giving rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa an audition for the rest of the season in order to figure out whether they want to take another quarterback in next year's draft. Miami owns the Houston Texans' first- and second-round picks in the 2021 draft. Houston's first-round pick is projected to end up in the top 10, and next year's draft could feature several top-10 QB options. But the Dolphins are committed to Tagovailoa as their signal-caller of the future after taking him in the first round this year. The expectation is that he'll remain the starter for the rest of the year. Tagovailoa will take on the Cardinals in his second career start after a mediocre showing in the win over the Rams in Week 8. Tua has plenty of upside in his legs and left arm, but he'll be a low-end QB2 for fantasy managers this Sunday.
