The Miami Dolphins opted for defense in the first round by taking Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant at No. 13 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. Some NFL talent evaluators thought Grant was as good if not better than Mason Graham, who went fifth overall to Cleveland, and in the end, the pair went only eight picks apart. Grant was a devastating run defender who helped Michigan to the 2023 national title, and now figures to fill a void in Miami left behind by the departure of Christian Wilkins in 2024. The Michigan Man was projected much later in some mock drafts, so Miami will be betting big on its evaluation here.--Nick Piotrowicz
