Dolphins Expected To Look At Melvin Gordon
5 years agoThe Miami Dolphins, who will have roughly $95 million in salary cap space (the most in the NFL), are expected to look at running back Melvin Gordon in free agency. Gordon would have some interest in the Dolphins at the right price, according to sources, as it would probably be his best chance at a near three-down role after disappointing in his final season in Los Angeles. If Miami doesn't want to pay Gordon, they could go a less expensive route in Carlos Hyde, Lamar Miller or Jordan Howard. Veteran Frank Gore could also be a candidate to return in a part-time role. Gordon's 2020 fantasy value will depend on where he winds up, but he'd be more of a high-end RB2 with RB1 upside if he signs with Miami.
