Dodgers Interested In Lucas Giolito This Offseason
1 year agoFanSided's Robert Murray says that the Los Angeles Dodgers have interest in free-agent right-hander Lucas Giolito this offseason as they look for starting-rotation depth heading into the 2024 campaign. Walker Buehler missed all of 2023 while rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, and Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) is a free agent and is expected to miss around half the season. Giolito, 29, started last season with the Chicago White Sox before being traded to the Los Angeles Angles and then claimed off waivers by the Cleveland Guardians. It was a second straight down year for the right-handed hurler with a 4.88 ERA (5.27 FIP) and 1.31 WHIP overall, but he was an All-Star in 2019 and was in the AL Cy Young running from 2019-21.
