DK Metcalf Misses Wednesday's Practice
2 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) went through a walkthrough on Wednesday but won't officially practice. Metcalf is feeling better, but the team is going to take it easy on him in practices to see how far he makes it heading into the Week 8 contest against the New York Giants on Sunday. The 24-year-old won't need surgery to fix a patellar tendon injury that he suffered in the Week 7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, but it's a very real possibility that he'll miss time. Fantasy managers need to prepare for a worst-case scenario. If Metcalf isn't cleared for Week 8, Tyler Lockett and Marquise Goodwin, who had two touchdowns last Sunday, would have bigger roles in the passing game.
