1 year agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf had an amazing day at training camp practice on Thursday and made several catches, ranging from deep receptions to short passes that featured impressive footwork and route-running, and he also scored touchdowns multiple times. Rookie first-rounder Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been getting most of the headlines at Seahawks camp so far this summer with everyone being extremely impressed with him, but Metcalf is quietly going about his work as the top receiver in Seattle. The 25-year-old has had 1,000-yard seasons in two of his four NFL seasons, but he scored a career-low six TDs in 2022. Metcalf remains one of the best all-around receivers in the game, but Smith-Njigba could take valuable targets away.
