DK Metcalf Catches Touchdown, Ejected In Week 14
1 year agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf was held to two catches on five targets in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. His receptions went for a total of 51 yards and included a 31-yard touchdown in the first quarter. The score salvaged another otherwise blase day against the 49ers, who limited Metcalf to 3 catches for 32 yards in their last meeting two weeks ago. Frustration spilled over late in the fourth quarter after linebacker Fred Warner intercepted a Drew Lock pass. Following the play, Metcalf held Warner by the facemask for an extended period after the whistle and was hit with a disqualification as a result. In Week 15, the Seahawks will be up against the porous secondary of the Philadelphia Eagles who are allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers. Metcalf's potential in that game is high, though expectations may need to be checked if Drew Lock is asked to step in for Geno Smith (groin) again.
