Diontae Johnson Able To Practice Wednesday
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (concussion) remains in the league's protocol, but he was able to practice on Wednesday. Johnson must pass through the protocol later this week in order to have a shot at playing in Week 12 against the Bengals, but he's off to a good start. If he's cleared, Johnson would be the No. 1 wideout with JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion, knee) not expected to play. Pittsburgh has an excellent matchup with the winless Bengals on tap, but even then Johnson would be a shaky flex option in deeper leagues. James Washington would have streamer appeal if both Smith-Schuster and Johnson are ruled out.
