Didi Gregorius is Sitting in Second Game on Monday
5 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius (finger) is out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. Gregorius admitted that his strained finger on his right hand is still bothering him. He suffered the injury last month and says it's a pain tolerance issue for him. However, he did play in the first game of the doubleheader and homered in that contest. Breyvic Valera will cover second base and bat ninth versus lefty Ty Blach on Monday. Valera doesn't have much fantasy value, so he can be ignored.
