Devon Levi Dresses As Backup On Wednesday
Buffalo Sabres goaltender Devon Levi (lower body) has recovered from injury and will be in the lineup for Wednesday's matchup against Philadelphia, backing up Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. The talented netminder has been unavailable since Oct. 19. With Eric Comrie (lower body) also out, the Sabres found themselves in a sticky situation, but Luukkonen has held down the fort well, even pulling off his first career shutout last time out in a very difficult matchup against Colorado. Levi has gone 1-3-0 so far this season with a 3.26 goals-against average and a .892 save percentage. He should return to action later in the week when Buffalo starts a back-to-back set Friday with a rematch versus Philadelphia.
