DeSean Jackson Talking With Seven Teams
3 years agoFormer Los Angeles Rams wide receiver DeSean Jackson has cleared waivers and has started discussions with seven teams. Jackson figures to land with a new team soon, but he's currently going through all of his options. The 34-year-old has no plans to retire and wants to continue playing in the NFL for a contender. Jackson asked to be traded by the Rams when it was clear that Van Jefferson was the team's favored No. 3 receiver behind Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. Despite not playing over 32% of the offensive snaps in any one game with LA, Jackson had eight catches for 221 yards (27.6 yards per catch) and a touchdown in seven games and could be a nice flier for a team lacking a deep speed threat down the field. Just don't expect him to suddenly become more than a boom/bust flex in deep leagues.
