Derwin James Won't Be Suspended
2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers safety Derwin James (head) won't be suspended for the hit on Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Ashton Dulin that led to James being ejected in the victory on Monday night, according to a source. James could be fined for his actions. It's good news for James and his fantasy managers in IDP leagues, but the 26-year-old is also in the league's concussion protocol due to a head injury that he suffered on the same play that got him ejected from the game. Before leaving on Monday, the Pro Bowler had an interception. He was returning from a two-game absence due to a quadriceps injury, and now his availability for the Week 17 game against the Los Angeles Rams is in question. After clinching a postseason berth on Monday, the Bolts could play it safe and hold James out this week.
