Derrick Rose One Assist Shy Of Double-Double
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard Derrick Rose got the start Saturday against the Blazers, posting 18 points, nine assists and three rebounds. He started in place of the injured Robert Covington and he even managed two blocks to cover for Covington's 1.46 season average. Rose continues his great season for the 'Wolves with 18.3 points, 4.3 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game. He's a rare bench player that is a decent fantasy asset. He'll have his hands full on Monday as the 'Wolves face the excellent defense of the Warriors.
