Derrick Henry To Have Surgery, Out 6-10 Weeks
3 years agoTennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry (foot) will have foot surgery on Tuesday morning and is expected to be out for six to 10 weeks. There is a belief that Henry will be back at some point this season, but the timeline of six weeks is probably too soon. A return in the eight- to 10-week range is much more likely for the NFL's top rusher. It's a brutal blow for the Titans and Henry's fantasy managers, but you shouldn't outright drop him, since there's a chance he could be back later this year. Jeremy McNichols will be a priority waiver-wire addition this week, but Dontrell Hilliard could also mix in, and the Titans are expected to look at options outside the organization, most notably Adrian Peterson.
