Derek Carr Practices Again Thursday
1 year agoDealing with three separate injuries, New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr (concussion, rib, shoulder) was able to practice on a limited basis for the second straight day on Thursday. This isn't Carr's first concussion of the year, which makes the fact that he's practicing at all a little surprising. It doesn't mean the 32-year-old will be cleared to play in Week 14 against the Carolina Panthers, though. Carr has eclipsed 300 yards passing in five games in 2023 but has only 11 touchdowns to show for it and is seemingly getting hurt every week. If he's active on Sunday, he'll be a low-end QB2 for fantasy managers in a tough matchup against Carolina. In Week 2 against the Panthers, Carr threw for 228 yards, no touchdowns and one interception. If he cannot play, it will be turnover-happy Jameis Winston making the start at QB for the Saints.
