Dereck Lively II Set For Surgery
11 months agoDallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (nose) will have surgery on Monday. The 19-year-old has played well in his first season in the NBA, averaging 9.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks. Unfortunately, he suffered a nasal fracture during Monday's showdown with the Orlando Magic, so he'll undergo a procedure to correct the issue. The rookie is questionable ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Bucks. But with Maxi Kleber (nose) carrying the identical designation, Richaun Holmes, who had a double-double on Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, could be worth considering for streaming purposes, even if it's only for a few games.
