It was a tough night at the office for Deiveson Figueiredo on Saturday, losing his UFC flyweight championship via third-round submission to Brandon Moreno in the UFC 263 co-main event. Figueiredo was dropped early in the first round and was nearly finished. In the third round, the champ was taken to the mat and forced to submit. In 12:26 of action, Figueiredo landed 24 significant strikes (33 total strikes) and landed his lone takedown attempt. In a worst-case scenario, Figueiredo is probably one win away from earning a rematch in what would be a rubber-match showdown. One has to wonder if Figueiredo's emotions got the better of him in this fight.--Matt Bricker
