DeeJay Dallas Likely Out Multiple Weeks
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks rookie running back DeeJay Dallas (ankle) suffered a Grade 3 ankle sprain in the Week 15 win over the Washington Football Team, according to a source. It's a serious sprain that is likely to keep him out for multiple weeks, which means Seattle might not have him available again until the playoffs. The return of Rashaad Penny in the backfield should help lesson the blow, though, and the Seahawks still have Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde as their primary backs. The 22-year-old rookie had some fleeting RB3/flex value in redraft leagues when both Carson and Hyde were injured, but he's mostly just a dynasty/keeper stash with Carson and Hyde healthy. Penny should see a slightly bigger workload behind Carson and Hyde for the final two regular season contests, but he won't have any standalone value.
