4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (foot) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Samuel still has a shot to play in Week 1 against the Cardinals, but he'll have to get in at least a limited practice session on Friday. And even if the team's top wideout does suit up, he could easily be a decoy if he's not 100 percent. The 49ers have no real reason to rush Samuel and make things worse so early in the season. You should look to avoid the South Carolina product until he can get back onto the practice field without being limited. Rookie Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) returned to practice on Thursday, so he has a shot at making his NFL debut on Sunday. With Samuel and Aiyuk beat up, Kendrick Bourne should be the biggest beneficiary and has become a popular sleeper in Week 1.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
