8/14:New York Mets third baseman David Wright (shoulder) went 0-for-1 with a walk while playing five innings for Single-A St. Lucie on Monday and is now hitless in four at-bats with two strikeouts in his two minor league games. He will have the day off on Wednesday. Wright hadn't played in a minor league game in a year before his latest stint and hasn't been seen in major league action since 2016. It's an improbable comeback for the 35-year-old. Don't hold out hope for him to return to the big leagues this year or ever again.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
