7 months agoToronto Blue Jays relief pitcher David Phelps (elbow) has joined the team in Houston but is unlikely to be activated from the injured list for another day or two after he threw on back-to-back days to finish up his rehab assignment. Phelps has been out all year in his recovery from Tommy John surgery, but the 32-year-old reliever could become a high-leverage bullpen option for the Jays when he returns, especially with Ken Giles currently sidelined. Phelps hasn't pitched in the big leagues since 2017 but should be one to watch in deeper leagues for those potentially speculating on saves.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
