David Njoku Says He's Feeling Better
2 years agoCleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (ankle) said his high-ankle sprain is feeling better every day and said, "we'll see," when asked about whether he'll play in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. Njoku was diagnosed with a left high-ankle sprain on Monday and is expected to miss anywhere from two to five weeks, so it's highly unlikely that he'll suit up on Halloween night this week. The 26-year-old was seen in a walking boot after last Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Fantasy managers should keep him stashed but should already have another option in place at the TE position. With Njoku likely to miss multiple weeks, Harrison Bryant should step into the to pass-catching role in Cleveland, making him a potential TE2 streamer.
