David Njoku Considered Week-To-Week
2 years agoCleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that tight end David Njoku (ankle) is week-to-week after injuring his left ankle in the Week 7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Fellow tight end Pharaoh Brown is also in the concussion protocol. Njoku was seen in a walking boot and using crutches after Sunday's game, so there's a good chance he won't be active in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals next Monday night. Fantasy managers need to formulate a backup plan for next weekend if they've been using the 26-year-old as their starting tight end. If Njoku misses any time, Harrison Bryant should see more targets in the passing game as a TE2 streamer in deeper leagues in this run-first offense.
